Mobile Test

I am trying out a new app to see how it works from my phone. If this works it would be easier to blog things on the go and I should be able to write about things as they come to me instead of having to write them down and try to blog about them later. So this is a Test.

A Muslim Mosque at Ground Zero in New York...

Are you serious they want to put a Muslim Mosque anywhere near Ground Zero in New York. What are they thinking? Has everyone forgot about 9/11 and what happened that day? Has everyone forgotten seeing our own people jumping out from 100 story windows trying to get out of the burning towers? Has everyone forgot who flew those planes into the towers?

I for one have not forgotten, and I hope and pray (yes people I said "pray") that the common sense American public will not forget either. Have we so far swung to the P.C. side that we can't even be American's anymore?

And what is up with our President saying that he is backing the Mosque... Are you serious... Oh wait I almost forgot our President has never served in the Military... He has never had to stand to in the morning in a foreign country to protect our freedoms and rights that men and women of our armed forces fight for each and everyday of their lives... He has never had to pick up a weapon to keep this country free, and he sure hasn't been making many good choices to keep our country free so why should I think that he wouldn't back a Mosque at Ground Zero?

I'm not saying that the job of the President isn't hard or demanding but when you are willing to put aside the core values of what our country stands for just so you won't offend a group of people then that is what I have problems with.

People have fought and died for our freedoms and for this country, and a lot of good American people died on 9/11. Don't you think the least you can do is not soil their memory by putting a symbol of the very thing that killed them at the site where they died?

Keyboard in your mouth...

I was out reading some news the other day and I ran across this article. At first when I read it I couldn't believe it. Let me set this up for everyone... There is this guy who decides he doesn't want to go into work so he calls his boss and tells him that he is really sick and can't make it in today. Ok... That in and of itself doesn't seem any different then what I am sure most of us have had to do at sometime in our lives. But this story only gets better. After he calls his boss he goes out to his Facebook account and updates his "What are you doing now" function to say something about being hung over from the night before and not wanting to go to work. To put the cherry on top of this story I guess he forgot that he added his boss to his Facebook friends and a couple of hours after he called in sick guess what his boss went and checked out on the internet... If you can't see where this is going by now then maybe you and this guy have something in common... :) Seriously though here is the link to article: (http://www.guardian.co.uk/global/blog/2008/oct/23/australia-facebook) go out and read it and see for yourself and ask yourself "What is this world coming to..."

Next Survivor Season

I was listening to the radio on my way into work today and I heard them say that on the next Survivor season they were going seperate the tribes according to race. They went on to say that there would be a white tribe, a black tribe, a hispanic tribe, and an asian tribe. My initial thought on this statement was why would you seperate the tribes by race? That doesn't make any sense to me. In this country we are still everyday fighting the battle of races and I don't think this going to help us get any closer to a desireable end result. I can understand why a TV show would want to do this because as we all know it is about the ratings and they want people to watch their show. I guess in the end we will do whatever it takes to turn a buck and people always have the choice to turn it to that TV show if they wish to view it, but I for one don't see how it can help us to intigrate as a people and to become one where the color of your skin or your nationality doesn't matter. I have always believed that end state should be we are all Americans and people that want to be judged by what we do and how we act towards others instead of being judged by our race, creed, or gender. Just my thoughts let me know what you think.

First Day

This is the first day of a blog that I hope will help me get out some of my frustrations with the world we live in today. Who knows why some of the things happen that happen but I wanted to start a blog to talk about some of these things. Look in the near future for some blogs on some things I am sure most people will agree are pretty messed up. Talk with everyone on net soon.
